Tuscumbia City School’s Counselors seek to prepare every student socially, academically and emotionally for present and future challenges. Our counseling program provides a proactive system designed to anticipate and facilitate the academic, career and personal/social/emotional development of students. Our counselors work together across school lines to provide a thorough and well rounded experience for each child in our school system beginning in Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. 

Counselors meet with students individually or in small groups to address social, emotional or academic needs. We provide classroom lessons to help students acquire interpersonal/social skills, career awareness/exploration and study/organizational skills. In addition, counselors are available to conference with parents, both individually and with teachers.
