I grew up in Athens, AL and graduated from West Limestone High School.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Athens State University and my Masters Degree from the University of North Alabama.  I taught fourth grade at R. E. Thompson for three years before transferring to G. W. Trenholm.  I taught second grade for twenty-one years at G.W.T.  I am very excited about being the intervention teacher at Trenholm this year.

When I was growing up I always knew I wanted to be a teacher.  I love teaching and think it is the best job in the world!  Fostering a love of learning is a passion of mine.  

My husband and I have been married for almost 26 years and have two boys.  Jess is 21 and a senior at Auburn University and a member of the Auburn University Marching Band.  Josh is 18 and a freshman at Auburn University.  I love spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and watching Auburn football.
