Bio
I am the Head Boy's Basketball Coach at Deshler High School. I have been at Deshler for 8 years. I teach 11th grade U.S. History, 10th grade History, PE, and History through Film, an elective class. I played basketball at Northwest-Shoals for two years before transferring to The University of Alabama. I graduated in 2003 from Alabama with a BS in Education and in 2005 with a Master's Degree in Sport Management from UA. I worked with the Men's Basketball team at Alabama from 2001-2005 as a student manager and a graduate manager. I was an assistant basketball coach at UNA in 2005-2006, an assistant basketball coach at the University of Montello from 2006-2009, and an assistant basketball coach and teacher at Gardendale High School from 2009-2012.
I am married to the former Paige Black of Hackleburg. Paige is a RN at the Helen Keller Surgery Pavilion.
My wife and I have a girl, Presley who was born in 2015 and a boy, Parke who was born in 2018.
My family and I attend Spring Valley Church of Christ.
I love spending time with my wife and kids, sports, anything with The University of Alabama, spending time with other family members, the Atlanta Braves, fishing with Presley, and doing church related activities.
