Hello! My name is Stephanie Banks. I attended Tuscumbia City Schools, starting in first grade at  Southside Elementary School (now G.W. Trenholm Primary) and graduated from Deshler High School in 1991. I attended the University of Alabama and West Alabama, graduating with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. My career began in the Tuscaloosa County School System before moving home to Tuscumbia. I taught Kindergarten for five years at Covenant Christian School and then, in 2010,  I began teaching at G.W. Trenholm Primary School. 

I am married to Mark Banks, and we have three children. We stay busy attending Deshler sporting events and keeping up with our three busy kids! I love to travel and to plan wild trips with my family!

Teaching in the Tuscumbia City School system is living my childhood dream!
