My name is Tara Jones and I teach 2nd grade at G.W. Trenholm Primary school. I am married to Matt Jones and we have two children, Jackson and Addison. I have been teaching at G.W. Trenholm since 2004. I graduated from Sheffield High School in 1996 and received degrees from the University of North Alabama in Sociology and Elementary Education. I also have a Masters of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. When I am not at school I love spending time with my family, working in my yard and reading a good book. I look forward to a great school year this year at GWT!
