It brings me great joy to serve the families, students, and teachers at G.W. Trenholm Primary School as the Assistant Principal. I have nine years in public education, all of those years within the Tuscumbia City School district. My experience includes special education, kindergarten, first grade, and interventionist. My first leadership position was serving as the Assistant Principal at Deshler Middle School. As a Deshler graduate, it elates me to be able to give back to a school system that invested in me. 

My husband Colby and I have been long-term residents of the Shoals area. We are proud dog parents to Max and Murphy. We enjoy watching sports, especially the University of Alabama and the Deshler Tigers. Some of my favorite hobbies include crafting and activities that provide a creative outlet. I am also an avid reader!

Teaching and advocating for students is my greatest passion. I consider myself relatable, personable, and approachable. I enjoy getting to know the families of our students and building connections that help establish a sense of trust and safety. It is in my hopes that I can partner with you all in assisting your students meet goals and establish a strong learning foundation during their time on our campus.
