My name is Kendra Sizemore Wallace.  Tuscumbia is my "hometown", and my family and I are all DHS graduates - Go TIGERS!  I attended GWT (formerly Southside) as an elementary student, and I am now blessed to be a teacher in the same school.   My husband Scott and I met while attending DHS and have been married for 33 years.  We have two wonderful children, Lauren and Wes, and two incredible grandchildren, Oliver and Grant.  

I have been a Preschool Director, taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. First grade is an AMAZING school year! I always consider it an honor to be a part of this time in each of my students' lives.  I received all of my degrees from the University of North Alabama- B.S. Elem. Ed., M.A. Elem. Ed., and Ed.S. Elem. Ed. I believe that open communication between families and teachers is a vital part of a positive and productive school experience and look forward to a new group of "little tigers" each year!
