I have been happily serving RET as principal for several years, and each year it gets better and better!  Everyone is so helpful and hard working here at RET, I look forward to many more years just like it!  Prior to becoming principal I had worked as the 8th grade World History teacher at Deshler Middle School for 11 years.  Before that, I taught 6-8 grade Math and Social Studies at St. Joseph Regional Catholic School in Florence.  I have always enjoyed working with the students of Tuscumbia and look forward to continuing this work as principal.

Personally, I have been married to the same lovely woman for the past 27 years.  We are both originally from New York where we met in college.  We visited family in the Shoals and fell in love with the climate and the people!  Jenifer and I have two children, Steven who is 20 and his little sister Sydney, who turned 17 this summer.   As a family we enjoy travelling and hanging out in the backyard with friends.

I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from UNA in 2004.  I did my undergraduate work at the State University of New York at Oneonta and graduated in 1990.
