In 1998, I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. In 2000, I graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education. I also completed National Board Certification in 2007.

Bio:
I am a 1994 graduate of Deshler High School. I am married to Blake Smith. We have one daughter, Bess, who is a sophomore this year at the University of Alabama. Roll Tide! We also have two dogs, Max and Remi. I enjoy reading, surfing the Internet, and football (especially Deshler and Alabama)!
