Experience

I began my teaching career at Northside Middle School in January 1996. Northside Middle is now Deshler Middle School. This year starts my 26th year of teaching in Tuscumbia!

Bio

I live in Killen, Alabama with my husband of twenty five years, Frank. We have three children - two boys (Gavin and Iain) and one girl (Emerson). Gavin is attending NWSCC on an academic shcolarship with plans to transfer to UNA to major in Professional Biology. Emerson is a member of the Color Guard in the BHS Band and is a Senior. Iain is an 8th grader and plays trumpet in the BHS Band. I have two fur babies- my cats -  Greyson and Fern Casey. Greyson is a Russian Blue mix....she is a bit bonkers and we lovingly call her "Crazy Greysie". Fern Casey is the community cat who loves to stay with us! I love her because she is a black cat with gold eyes - my favorite!

I am excited about another year at DMS! It is great to be a Deshler Tiger!
