Welcome parents, guardians and students!  I am excited to start my fourteenth year of teaching at Deshler Middle School.  Deshler Middle School is a wonderful learning environment for students and a caring environment for both students and teachers!  My professional goal for this year is to create a more positive learning environment by celebrating teacher and student successes as often as possible.  

I live in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with my husband, Ray.  We have been married for 31 years.  We have two children, Quinton (28) and Colby (26) both graduated from Auburn University.  Quinton is Chemical Engineer and lives in Pearl River, Louisiana with his wife (Jessica) and baby girl ( Laura Leigh).  Colby lives in Madison, AL and is a site supervisor for a large construction company. We attend Highland Park Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals.  My family and I love to travel and attend events at Auburn University.

I enjoy reading, attending sporting events, cooking and spending time with my family.
