My name is Scott King, and I am a 2009 graduate of Deshler High School. I attended college at the University of North Alabama and graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in social science. I returned to UNA in the spring of 2020 to obtain my master's degree in instructional leadership. I began my teaching and coaching career at Wilson High School where I taught history and coached football, wrestling, and baseball. I spent my first five years back at Deshler Middle School as pe teacher and coached football, wrestling, and baseball. This year I stepped into the role of principal at DMS. It is an honor to serve Tuscumbia City Schools and the kids of Tuscumbia.
