Bio
Hello! I'm Tracey Almon, library media specialist at Deshler High School. I have been a teacher/librarian for 28 years! I am married to my husband, Bruce, and we have three sons - Samuel, a student at Wallace State studying Cardiovascular Sonography; Daniel, a dentist in Florence; and Andrew, a pharmacist in Florence.
Much of my spare time is spent with my grandchildren, Ian, Avery, Ruby, & Riley! They are so much fun! I also enjoy reading and spending time with family & friends.
I love my job and hope the students see that in me. My goal as a librarian is to help each student feel confident and comfortable using the library and its many resources. I want students to see the library as a welcoming place, where questions can be answered and minds can be challenged!
