Hello, Tigers!

My name is AnnaBelle Whitaker and I am the 7th grade Social Studies teacher, Scholar's Bowl Coach, and Assistant Track Coach here at Deshler Middle School. My husband and I have been married since July of 2020 and are currently raising our household of fur babies! I obtained my Associate's Degree in Science from NWSCC in 2019 and graduated from UNA in 2021 with my Bachelor's degree in Secondary General Social Studies.

My hobbies include reading, collecting snowglobes, and teaching middle school legends! 

I am honored to work for and be a part of the Tuscumbia City family, where every day feels like home.
