I am Johnell Jones Sr., a 1998 Norma C. Obannon High School graduate from Greenville, Mississippi. I have been at Deshler for a combined 11 years. I was a volunteer coach for the high school football team from 2006-2013 and have now been the Physical Education teacher at Deshler Middle since 2021. I graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Ed, and Recreation. I also obtained my Master of Science degree in Physical Education K-12 from Jacksonville State University. During my time at Deshler, I coached high school football, 8th grade basketball, and high school track & field.
